US wants sports back, Canada isn’t that eager. What about the NHL?
When talking about American sports, it is sometimes forgotten that some US major leagues include Canadian teams too.
Currently, one MLB team is based in Canada (Toronto Blue Jays), the MLS features three Canadian franchises (Montreal Impact, Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC), and the NBA has one team (Toronto Raptors).
The proportions change a bit when you look at the NHL, which currently boasts seven Canadian teams.
